SP Foundry Company and Employee Impact – COVID-19 Update (March 24th)

3/19/20 Presidential Policy Directive 21 (PPD-21): SP Foundry is part of the Critical Manufacturing sector to the Water & Wastewater sector, two of 16 infrastructure sectors designated by the Department of Homeland Security Critical Industry whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital to the U.S. that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination thereof. As a part of the Essential Infrastructure Group, SP Foundry is providing materials and services necessary for public works construction and operation, which are designated by CISA as Essential Businesses and Operations in the United States. This includes maintenance of utilities, including water and sewer utilities, as well as the supply chain for water and wastewater treatment. SP Foundry is a Critical Manufacturer for these Essential Operations and is therefore permitted to continue operating.
