Scrap metal is used to melt and transform into new products/components. In doing so, we play a significant role in environmental sustainability by reducing waste and conserving natural resources. It aids in cost effectiveness by reducing the need for mining new materials, thereby lowering production costs. SP Foundry also looks to participate in other reuse programs to help in eliminating waste streams, such as sand that gets repurposed by cement plants instead of costly and environmentally impacted landfill disposals.
